The London Bridge in Havasu City, Arizona

I drove across the London Bridge today and then pulled into a convenient visitor’s parking lot to take a close-up look at the bridge. It was dismantled in 1967 from the River Thames in London, England and relocated to Havasu City in Arizona.

It was delightful to drive across the bridge and remember the little tune we used to sing on the playground. And no I didn’t sing the song, and no the bridge is definitely not falling down, and no they didn’t lock me up (because I didn’t sing).
