Wild lavendar blooming throughout the desert provided me with an amazing display in Homolovi State Park. I saw acres of lavendar blooming on rolling hillsides. I wasn’t able to capture the beauty of these fields with my camera, but I enjoyed the view and the gentle aroma of the spring blooms as I hiked the easy trails around the Hopi ruins.
While camped here I met two couples who were travelling together who stopped by to admire my T@B. One of the husbands commented that my trailer was exactly what his single friend back home needed. He has been trying to talk him into taking up camping and has been telling him about all the single ladies who are out camping in parks across the country. I couldn’t help myself, I responded that we single ladies aren’t all out here looking for his friend.
