A trio of singer/guitarists entertained us around a campfire as we watched the evening sky darken and the stars appear. The desert is an amazing place to view the night sky as the entire sky is visible and without city lights nearby even the far away tiny stars are visible. The temperature drops swiftly once the sun starts setting and by the time it’s dark it’s uncomfortably cold. The fire was helping to keep us warm, but the guitarists found it quickly getting too cold for their fingers. One lone guitarist continued to play and the music wrapped around us, stories were told, laughter shared, fire’s warmth, and a lovely end to a day in the desert.
After 25 years of providing computer support to others, I decided to run away! I sold my home, purchased a small teardrop camper, and set out to explore the world. As I prepared to head into my journey, I discovered many folks cheering me on, eager to follow my travels, and asking me to share my adventures along the way. This blog is the result of those promises. I hope you’ll enjoy following along. If you want to contact me: firstname.lastname@example.org
So here I go – Into the Journey!
